"The brand for children, ‘Kokroma’: Started with just 2 Lakh and is now now a multi-million Rupee business.  

Rewati prepared a package including a kokro (the traditional Nepali baby carrier) and clothes within a few days. Once everything was ready, she looked at the kokro filled with baby essentials, and the name suddenly struck her—‘Kokroma’.

March 30, Kathmandu – Rewati probably never imagined that one day this would become a Nepali brand. Nor did she think that a business started with just 2 lakh rupees would grow into a multi-million Rupee enterprise.  

However, while she may not have foreseen this level of success, she always believed that a small business should be nurtured to reach greater heights.  

With that mindset, Rewati Gurung embraced hard work, challenges, and struggles as part of her journey. Today, as she looks at what she has achieved, she feels even more motivated to go further.  

What started as a business catering only to the local market has now gained international recognition. The products she creates are now reaching the U.S., the UK, Australia, Taiwan, and Europe."
